2022 may actually be my very first year entering the Lodi Grape Festival Art Competition. Even though I grew up in Lodi and have been drawing intensely since elementary school…I am pretty sure that I never entered this show!
At any rate, I entered two pieces this year and was happy to win a ribbon for “Hope.”

The second piece I entered at the Grape Festival. It’s hard to draw during summer and not make a sun or two!
