“Finding Light” Looking back at my april-may 2026 show

“The Colors I Crave”

When preparing for this show, I paid even more attention to the colors and shifting light in nature. Sunrises and sunsets have always been a particular favorite of mine. “The Colors I Crave,” which was on display at my show “Finding Light,” was inspired by the purple and golden colors of the sky.

“Cosmic Breath”

Have you ever felt an intense need to re-set? If you could just get above the clouds for a moment, breathe out and start anew, wouldn’t you feel just wonderful? “Cosmic Breath,” part of my “Finding Light” show back in April-May 2026, illustrates that wish. Fun fact, this piece also exists in colored pencil form and I used it in promo shots for my show. That smaller version was the first one I drew, then I did a larger oil pastel using it as a reference, which I finished just in time for the show!
