Hello! Welcome to my show "Life is But a Dream" and the accompanying guide!  While you read this, I hope you are at the Lodi Community Art Center in downtown Lodi, ready to explore our shared human journey: how we experience and process the beauty of the world and the inevitable loss we encounter as mortal beings.

The pieces in this show depict the richness of our emotions, whether they are joyous or sorrowful.  I hope they strike a chord with you.

“Light at the End”

This piece is about 20 years in the making. I began it in college, set it aside for awhile, and frankly forgot it was still in my portfolio. I was sorting through some older pieces about a year ago and came across it.  (Or perhaps it came across me!)  I am so glad we found each other again; it happened right at a time I probably needed it most.
